Head almost above water...

I am making some fantastic headway getting through my last few sessions proofs. Thank you all again for your patience and understanding, my clients rock!

You may recognize this little guy from my website.. or maybe not, because... He is now a full fledged blondie! Back when I photographed him just before his first birthday his hair was a light shade of brown, what a difference a year makes!

Fun stuff...

This sentimental location was loaded with all kinds of great little treasures. I guess it should be, after all it is the place my client grew up. Two barns, a beautiful old car, vintage street signs and a fabulous tire swing! I was seriously in hog heaven with it all!

Catching up...

I plan to spend many-many hours this week playing catch up--wish me luck, I am going to need it!!

Just over a month ago, I put everything on hold. My photography suffered tremendously for it. I am just now finding the time to get back to it and I am knee deep in proofing galleries, blog previews, ordering, Christmas cards, etc... someone quick, throw me a life line! What's all this about... Well, what proved to be the worst day of my entire life has indeed changed my life completely. In short, my parents were in a very serious car accident on October 27th. I wish not to disclose the details here and I know you'll understand. If you follow my photography or know me well it is likely you know part or all of the story. If not, please hang in there.

What I really want to say today is thank you to my faithful friends, valued clients and blog followers for your love and support over the past month. Words cannot say just how thankful I truly am or how much I appreciate your genuine concern. From your words of encouragement, your hugs and even your tears; you are the true meaning of friendship, many heartfelt thanks.

On a lighter note...

The following session was nothing short of a fantastic time. Many of my amazing clients are also my dear friends, so you wont be surprised when I say... I love this girl too! I was especially impressed with the fun clothing, hats and accessories she brought to the session, her eye for style seriously rocks! Her family was loads of fun as well, thanks all.
